About the Role

The AI SEO Performance Specialist is a key contributor to the Marketing team, responsible for leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive and optimize search engine performance, increase organic traffic, and enhance overall search visibility. This role demands a high degree of AI fluency combined with a deep understanding of SEO/GEO best practices, geographical search nuances, and marketing analytics. The AI SEO Performance Specialist acts as a bridge between technical data science and marketing execution, contributing valuable insights to the broader marketing intelligence and research efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Utilizing AI Tools: Employ AI platforms for various SEO tasks, including advanced keyword research, competitor analysis, content generation and optimization, and link-building strategies.
Strategy Development: Design and implement data-driven optimization strategies that incorporate insights from AI analysis to improve search rankings and organic traffic.
Performance Tracking & Analysis: Use AI-powered analytics tools (like Google Analytics and Search Console) to monitor daily metrics, measure the impact of AI-driven optimizations, and translate data into actionable insights and ROI reports.
Content Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to optimize content for user intent and search engine algorithms, ensuring content is both high-quality for human readers and machine-readable (e.g., proper schema markup, internal linking).
Technical SEO Automation: Use tools to automate and identify technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, site speed problems, and mobile optimization, allowing for rapid resolution.
Algorithm Adaptation: Stay abreast of the constant changes in search engine algorithms and how AI is influencing search, adapting strategies proactively to maintain and improve visibility.
PPC expert: Optimization and management of the PPC campaigns.
Analytics: Process, download, and clean the analytics data, including creating monthly and as-needed reports on various marketing activities, analyzing those reports, and identifying insights (what’s working, what’s not working). Ownership of the SEO monthly report.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dedicated SEO role, preferably within a fast-paced technology or data-driven environment.
Demonstrated experience using advanced marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics) and SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Search Console, STAT).

Other Requirements

High attention to detail , always reviewing your own work to avoid errors
AI Fluency: Proven understanding of how generative AI and machine learning are applied in a marketing and SEO context, including the maintenance and automation aspects of AI tools. Practical experience working with AI-powered tools is highly desirable.
SEO Expertise: Deep knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimization, off-page strategies, and the latest search algorithm updates.
Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation and visualization.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being comfortable sharing a strategy/plan and explaining technical details to those with limited technical knowledge and stakeholders.
