We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team to be based in San Jose, Costa Rica. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of human resources while actively contributing to HR projects and providing administrative support. This internship offers valuable exposure to the field of HR and an opportunity to develop essential skills in recruitment, training, and HR operations.

The start date will be in June 2024, for a period of 6 months

Main responsibilities

Provide HR support: Assist with administrative tasks within the HRBP for Latin America, including data entry, maintaining employee records, preparing documents, and organizing HR-related materials. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR information.
Recruitment support: Aid in recruitment efforts by sourcing potential candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and scheduling interviews. Assist in maintaining job postings and applicant tracking systems.
HR documentation: Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments to support HR initiatives and address employee-related issues as required.
Stay updated on HR trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in human resources. Share insights and propose innovative ideas for improving HR processes.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong interest in exploring HR.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with LinkedIn or other professional networking platforms is a plus.
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.

Additional Remarks

You will receive an internship allowance per month on the basis of 20 hours per week.
