Roles & Responsibilities

Manage the Importer Security Filings (ISF) Customs (CBP) response messages
Address groups email inquiries, tactical cases, providing support and/or resolution.
Communicates with shipping stakeholders and providers on CBP changes or advisories impacting security filings
Create SIO’s as required for service failures
Support new customer ISF on boardings with commercial
Archive ISF legal documents; LOI and POA’s
Maintain POA’s and review annually for required renewed POAs
Assist to manage and update ISF internal materials: ISF handbook, ISF FAQ’s, ISF Onboarding Guide
Maintain the security filing global matrixes for all global security filings
Manage the HTS code updates from CBP for coordination with EDI and commercial
Manage the ISF timely and completeness report
Update, and maintain the CBP penalty log. Support research and provide written findings to management when a penalty arises.
Support, analyse, and testing of ACSR enhancements through to production
Support the compliance team on metric reports, statistics, and program documentation
Extract and distribute the Customs ACE in bond report for operations
Maintain updated SharePoint sites for ISF, and AMS
Provide ISF, and AMS training for origin offices, as needed.
Supports team members on Customs ACE In Bond report to import operations team
Attend compliance webinars for continued training and development
Other duties as directed

Key Result Areas

Addresses daily ISF CBP responses to ensure all ISF filings are in an accepted status. Monitors and keeps customers (internal/external) notified about EDI errors, missing/incorrect HTS codes, or missing data.

Respond to email inquiries or request for support on tactical security filings issues and coordinate resolution.

Processes information based on established rules and procedures, escalating to manager as needed.

Support the development and implementation of projects with business analysis for reporting and tasks improvement.

Makes decisions that impact customer and work activities, following up with internal partners or third-party providers to ensure processes at origin and destination are fulfilled.

Supports other team members, shares best practices and knowledge to improve overall performance.

Maintain department process SOP’s and process flows for required updates. Review data and SOPs for potential improvements and investigate opportunities to manage workflow in a more efficient manner.

Education:
High school diploma mandatory. College degree or studies in related field is required or its equivalent of 2+ years of relevant experience.

Experience:

2+ years of experience minimum in Logistics, supply change and consolidation process, knowledge of distribution, warehousing, and transportation

Skills:

Knowledge in PC workstation skills in Windows and MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, advanced Excel skills is preferred, and Microsoft Teams.

Proficiency in English and Spanish.
