About this opportunity

Align, the makers of Invisalign ® is looking for a Sr. Supervisor, Project Management Services. This exciting new role would be part of a culture that is helping to improve lives every day through digital dentistry. The Sr. Supervisor, Project Management Services is responsible for driving one or more of the Treat Operations organization’s most critical and strategic initiatives. Also is responsible for managing the complete project life cycle, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Develops timelines and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracking critical project achievements. Works and coordinates the necessary activities with multidisciplinary teams (internal or external to Align) to establish and achieve goals. Defines the project's objectives, ensures quality compliance, cost and benefits realization, and ensures proper communication across the organization and with critical stakeholders. This role will be part of Align Technology goal to deliver the next generation of clear aligners (Invisalign®) to our customers. In this role, you will…

  • Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
  • Plan project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Analize financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Develop business cases and provides financial tracking reports and budget outlines to upper management and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
  • Draft new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
  • Evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  • Accurate documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
  • Lead highly strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives
  • Create and manage cross-functional plans, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (and external vendors if applicable) to define requirements and manage timelines.
  • Facilitate of end-to-end scoping / estimation and managing cross-team dependencies.
  • Engage and provide critical information to leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders (Business Leadership, Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to prioritize initiatives.
  • Have clear communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, mitigation plans, and impacts to senior management and internal cross-functional and remote project teams. Steer teams based on business objectives, continuously align teams to those objectives, in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
  • Have Self-directed (directing cross-functional teams and own staff).

In this role, you’ll need …

Typically:

  • A Bachelor Degree, or may have a Master’s Degree from a four-year college or university
  • 7-11 years of directly related experience
  • 5 years' experience in the medical device industry.
  • 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position and at least one year experience leading medium complexity projects.
  • Be proficiency in English
  • Ability to coordinate and interact with all levels of the organization effectively (internal and external)
  • Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance documentation processes, review cycles and information repositories (meeting minutes, templates, charter documentation etc etc).

Certifications

  • Professional in Project Management (PPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • BVOP Certified Project Manager
  • Certified Project Management (CPM)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL)
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
