Job Description
PURPOSE STATEMENT
Responsible for actively supporting the execution of validation activities for processes, equipment, and computerized systems, ensuring compliance with AbbVie and medical industry standards requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, write, and execute validation protocols for elements that need to be qualified or validated
- Carry out tasks associated with the execution of validation studies, as well as analyze data and generate reports for elements that need to be qualified or validated.
- Control, coordinate, and notify everything necessary to carry out validation studies according to the proposed plan, in order to maximize the use of assigned resources and ensure proper execution of tasks.
- Ensure compliance with good documentation practices, as well as timely, ethical, responsible, and documented execution of validations and studies required by the company.
- Train personnel who need to be qualified in conducting validation studies, so that tasks are performed with the required knowledge, ensuring proper execution and obtaining results.
- Follow and properly consult procedures assigned to the position when executing tasks or validation studies.
- Implement improvement ideas in the area to achieve more efficient processes for the business.
- Monitor the area's metrics.
- Support quality system actions, such as CAPAs and audit actions.
- Other functions inherent to the position and those assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Technician in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics or a related field, or having completed at least 40% of the courses in an engineering degree.
- English proficiency B1
- Three (3) to four (4) years as a validation, quality, manufacturing, or engineering technician in regulated medical industries with significant knowledge of GxP practices. If with fewer years of experience, it should be compensated by the level of education.
- Availability for a fix term contract (6 months)
- Schedule: A5: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
