Skills and Competencies

• Experience delivering and maintaining production software solutions across front end, back end, and APIs
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience developing modern web applications using Angular and TypeScript
• Experience writing and maintaining Python scripts for automation, integrations, or workflow tooling
• Practical experience integrating Large Language Model APIs into applications in a provider-agnostic manner
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices including testing, debugging, code quality, and documentation
• Experience with LLM engineering concepts such as prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation techniques is preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use. 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable applications and automation solutions that integrate Large Language Model capabilities to enhance business and developer productivity

• Build and maintain LLM-enabled applications across user interfaces, backend services, and APIs
• Develop automation scripts and workflow tooling using Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Implement backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, integrating with internal platforms and external LLM providers
• Design and develop modern web interfaces using Angular and TypeScript to deliver intuitive user experiences
• Apply LLM engineering patterns including prompt design, prompt management, tool or function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation
• Ensure solutions meet production standards including testing, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security, data handling, and audit requirements
• Support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of applications and services in production environments
