Clinical Data Manager (Sponsor-Dedicated)

Clinical Data Manager leading sponsor-dedicated studies at a contract research organization. Responsible for data management activities from study initiation through database lock, including team leadership, quality oversight, and direct sponsor engagement across multi-site trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site clinical studies and oversee all data management deliverables from startup to database lock
• Provide direction and quality review of junior data management staff and study team outputs
• Collaborate with project managers, EDC design, SAS programming, statistics, and PK teams to coordinate deliverables
• Develop and maintain sponsor relationships, address audit findings, and track scope changes
• Mentor team members on clinical trial processes and support performance evaluations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in data management
• 6-8 years of clinical data management experience with minimum 1 year direct sponsor management
• Fluent in English, written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes, GCP, and biometrics systems
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Medical terminology knowledge and team collaboration abilities
• Experience handling customer concerns and managing scope and budgets preferred
